Best Halloween Surprise ever!

We were supposed to go down to Logan to do Halloween with our friends and my brother and sister-in-law but were not able to so Paul and Mallory decided to come and surprise us. We loved having them here for the weekend. It was a wonderful surprise!!!! Thanks Paul and Mal!
And just because it is so sweet..
Eliza was singing I am a Child of God and Follow the Prophet to Ryker. I love how intently he is listening to her.
Awwh...too cute!

Halloween 2010

I made the girls and their cousin Berkley all ghost pillowcase dresses.

This picture was taken right before bedtime...we were all done and getting cranky!

October Happenings!

FUN RUN
The kids school had their first annual fun run. Each grade level had to run the track three times. Both kids did great and finished in the top ten for their grade which meant they both got Syringa water bottles.

Tanner was so determined to do well. He is not really that fast of a runner but set a goal to be one of the top ten and practiced on his own accord during recesses all week.

After the race...soo tired!

Emma is a pretty fast little runner but I was not sure if she even cared about it at all. Turns out that stubborn little girl did not want too many boys to beat her so she ran her fastest the whole time and came in third or fourth and was the first girl done!

She was so proud of herself! She must have ran her little heart out...she was bright red and sooo sweaty!
MOTHER GOOSE CELEBRATION
Emma's Kindergarten class had a program where they recited all the letters of the alphabet..the sound they make and a nursery rhyme or little song for each one. Each child was supposed to dress up like their favorite one. Afterwards they had a sampling of nursery rhyme treats! It was alot of fun.
Emma with her teacher Mother Goose(Mrs. Spiker)

Emma was one of the ten little ghosts and her friend Ezra from our ward was Humpty Dumpty
HALLOWEEN PARTY
This year I helped in both kids classrooms at their Halloween parties. I forgot to take pictures at Tanners and I only have this one picture at Emmas. I need to get alot better at taking pictures!

When the big kids are at school...

We Play!!!

Eliza wanted to take pictures...so we did!...and to my suprize it was actually alot of fun.

And then she wanted some all by herself!

What a sweetheart! I just love this picture of her. It totally fits her personality.

And when she is tired...she will go in her room and tuck herself into bed for a nap...if only bedtime was that easy!

Happy Birthday Busy!

Eliza turned three last Tuesday. We had a little birthday party/FHE with Uncle Jon and Aunt Kassies's family. It was alot of fun!

She wanted to blow out the candles all by herself and actually knew what to do this year.

Things we love about Eliza:
*Her giggles...they are so contagious!
*She is always so BUSY!..she never holds still (hence the nickname)
*Loves to snuggle and sing "I Am A Child of God" to baby brother
*Always skips or hops wherever she goes...never walks!
*Her natural curls...so fun!
*Her fun-loving personality
*She loves to be a "little shadow"
*She loves to read books

My Handsome Boys

Tanner is thrilled to have a little brother! He wanted me to take a picture of just the boys in their matching suits and ties from Paul and Mallory's wedding.

The girls could not be left out. They said they needed a "best sisters" picture!

Back to School Pictures 2010!

Tanner is in the 2nd grade this year at Syringa.

His teacher is Mrs. Remark.

Emma is at Syringa this year too.

She is in Kindergarten and has the

wonderful "Mrs. Spiker" (Tanner's kindergarten teacher)

Emma is so excited to be at the "big kids" school and

get homework! (We will see how fun she thinks homework

is as the year progresses.)

The night before school starts Jared gives the kids back to school blessings. This year after he had given the three oldest kids blessings and we were kneeling down for family prayer, Eliza started getting all upset and told Jared that baby brother needed a blessing too! So he gave Ryker a Father's blessing as well. It was a very tender moment for us.
